Alumni Lacrosse Match
Date: Saturday 16th March 2024
Time: 10.00am – 13.15pm
Where: Harrogate Ladies' College
Overview: The Alumni Lacrosse Match against the current HLC senior team, with girls from various year groups – held every 2 years.
10.00: Arrival – Sarah Mills to meet alumni in main Reception to sign in. Visitors Room is booked for any coats/belongings, or players can take them pitch-side. Alumni to meet their teammates and our Head of Sport Nikki Priestley, to discuss tactics and playing positions.
10.20: Coffees, teas and biscuits for the spectators can be located on the picnic tables outside the North Dining Room.
10.25: Individual team photos on the pitch.
10.30: Match starts – Players to bring their own water bottle for half time.
11.30: Match ends – Principal Sylvia Brett to present a trophy to the winners on the pitch, followed by a group photo.
(Spectators will then leave).
11.35: Alumni will be escorted to the Female changing facilities in the Sports Hall to get ready for lunch if they wish to change. Or they will head straight to the NDR if they do not. (Please remove any outdoor trainers).
11.35: Cold soft drinks to be served in the NDR for the players. Name badges will be distributed.
12.00: Players will be escorted to the South Dining Room for a sit-down lunch.
Menu: beef bourguignon, mushroom bourguignon, mustard mash, tender stem broccoli, side salad, chocolate torte. Teas and coffees.
by 13.15: Lunch will conclude.
Please note, the trophy will remain in school afterwards, for the next Alumni Match.
Spectators are welcome, should you wish to cheer on your former classmates.
